Down Home Gospel was started in 1996 as a weekly television program.
Featuring local, regional, and national Southern Gospel Music.

All for the purpose to encourage the saint's and to lead the lost to The Lord! Amen!
Then in 2000 Down Home Gospel started a weekly radio program.
WHLO 640AM featuring local, regional, and national Southern Gospel Music.
The program ran until the station was sold in 2003.
Then Down Home Gospel went to WHK 1220AM for 6 months.
We decided not to continue because of the constant preempting of our program.
We lost our listener base.
The Lord has called us into the radio ministry once again!
We waited on The Lord for 4 years to take care of all the details.
We currently air on five stations!
In doing so He has blessed us and we pray all those that come in contact with Down Home Gospel. Amen!

DOWN HOME GOSPEL, is a non profit, tax exempt 501 (c) 3 corporation. Our organization's
mission is to glorify The Lord God by working with Southern Gospel Artists and others involved in the Southern Gospel Music Ministry to share The Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 16:15 " And He said Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature" We will do this by mentoring and providing guidance to these ministries to further their outreach through the spoken word, song, and the written page through radio, TV, concerts, CDs' DVD's and any other media at our disposal.
